from Shannon & Josh "BOOK HIM NOW!! If Ryan is available for your wedding or event date, book him immediately!!! We live in Dallas and had a wedding in New Orleans. From our first consultation call to the big day, he was so thoughtful and intentional on understanding us as a couple and how we wanted our wedding day to be captured. He even visited the wedding venues a week beforehand to study the area and made creative suggestions on where we could get the best shots that represented us as couple. As a bride planning from a different city, this was so helpful and made our day seamless! He made my husband and I feel so comfortable and suggested poses as we never know what to do with our hands or how to pose. Ryan was also very communicative leading up to our wedding with emails and a final confirmation call and he sent us updates right after so we had clear expectations on when we would receive our pictures. Plus just an overall very nice person!
Shannon & Josh "Now to the pictures…THEY ARE AMAZING!! I can't remember how many people have told me that our wedding photos look like they are out of a magazine! That is all because Ryan is a true artist who takes his craft very seriously! If you get the chance to work with Ryan you will not regret it! "
from Fabiola & Ramon "Ryan exceeded our expectations!

From the moment I contacted Ryan to the delivery of our photos, Ryan's professionalism, communication, and work was exceptional. He photographed our wedding and was able to capture exactly what my husband and I were looking for.

With true personal interest, Ryan patiently took the time to understand our creative vision and needs. Although we chose Ryan largely due to his clear talent, creative eye, and personal style, his artistry did not overpower what we were hoping for. He delivered every step of the way, with phone calls, emails, and outlines that kept our project on task..."
from Fabiola & Ramon "Our photos were vibrant, creative, and captured in detail to tell the best story of our love, our unique personalities, and our beloved family members and friends. In addition, our wedding guests who are camera shy felt very comfortable in his warm presence. We truly fell in love, and are sure that Ryan's personality contributed to the beauty in our photos.

As a visual artist myself and fellow perfectionist, I am known by my family friends, and employers to be very critically minded… And I’m telling you. This photographer is the ONE. All jokes aside all I have to say y’all is “game recognize game”. Trust this review."

    Frequently Asked Questions

A few common questions before reaching out.

    Where are you based?
New Orleans, Louisiana — available for travel.
    Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I photograph weddings throughout Louisiana and beyond. For weddings outside New Orleans, airfare would simply be covered.
    What is your photography style?
My approach blends documentary storytelling with editorial direction — capturing genuine moments while also creating intentional, cinematic portraits.
Do you offer Super 8 wedding films?
Yes. Super 8 wedding films are available as an add-on or standalone offering depending on availability. Each film is shot on real Kodak motion picture film and professionally processed, scanned, and edited by hand.
    Do you shoot 35mm film?
Yes. Many weddings include a blend of digital and 35mm film photography for added texture, atmosphere, and timeless character.
How long does it take to receive our gallery?
Most wedding galleries are delivered within 10–12 weeks depending on season and project scope.
How many images do you deliver?
I focus more on storytelling and quality than a strict image count, but most weddings receive several hundred carefully edited photographs.
    Do you help with posing?
A little of both. I’ll guide you when needed while also leaving room for natural interaction and genuine moments.
    How do we book?
To officially reserve your date, a signed contract and retainer are required.
    Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. Wedding albums, fine art albums, standard albums, and heirloom books are available after gallery delivery and can also be purchased at the time of booking.
    Do you work with planners?
Yes — I regularly collaborate with planners, coordinators, and creative teams throughout the wedding process.
    What do most couples invest?
Most couples invest between $4,500–$8,500 depending on coverage, location, albums, 35mm film, Super 8, and the overall scope of the celebration. Custom proposals are created based on your plans and priorities.
How far in advance should we inquire?
As soon as you have a date and venue, it’s worth reaching out. Popular spring and fall dates often book further in advance.
